Incorrect Items - You may return the incorrect item within 5 days of receipt of order for a full refund or exchange for correct product. We'll pay the return shipping costs. Defective Items Less Than 30 Days - You may return the defective item within 30 days of receipt of order for an exchange of same new product. We'll pay the return shipping costs. If you prefer an exchange then we will pay the outbound shipping costs. If you prefer a refund then we will refund the full amount of your order including shipping and handling charges. Defective Items More Than 30 Days and Within Warranty Period - You may return the defective item that is more than 30 days old after receipt of order and within the warranty period for EXCHANGE ONLY. You will pay the return shipping costs. We will ship at our cost a new product of the same type. There will be no refunds. For discontinued items we will ship an equivalent item at our cost. Loss or damage of your order during shipment - All orders placed are FOB Sunnyvale, CA. Alpec® is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from shipping. Please contact and file your claim with shipping carrier promptly.
Refund & Exchanges - Refund or exchange will take approx. 4 weeks. In many cases it will take more quickly. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund or exchange once we've received and processed the returned item.
Exceptions - Items are not returnable if it is more than 30 days old from date of receipt of order unless it is defective; missing the serial number, missing UPC bar code, missing original packaging material, tempered with, abused or damaged, used in a manner not recommended or designed for, or outside the warranty period.
Return Merchandise Authorization Procedure - Items cannot be returned without an RMA Number. Please call customer service at 800-854-6686. You must ship item at your expense. All returns must also include a copy of your receipt or invoice.
