Thanks for your review. Blue is a very new laser technology and is not intended to be used in direct sunlight; most legal laser pointers are not. Also, what separates Alpec pointers from $10 ones off of Amazon are the fact that our pointers are legal, have circuit protection and have IR filtration. The last one being of particular importance, many users of low quality pointers complain of hospital visits due to blindness by these invisible (to the human eye) “leaks” of light that damages the eye.

The blue is a nice touch, but it isn’t bright enough to be seen in daylight. Kind of a disappointment that you can get a $10 laser pointer off Amazon that functions better for a fraction of the price, yet these don’t come in blue though.
